Professional tools |
They are used by professional trades & craftsmen for very good reasons.... |
A professional tool is exactly that. It is designed and manufactured to withstand hard daily usage, and some accidental abuse. Casings are stronger, motors are more powerful, grips are larger and in better positions. Chucks and vices grip better and often take larger diameter tools, and usually these are of the SDS type for quick and efficent tool changing and a better working grip on the piece. Powered moving machinery is larger and more robust, geared better and with additional features to make the job easier. If you have ever had a power drill that you purchased at a DIY outlet give up at the end of a busy day's work then you'll appreciate the extra power and reliabilty of a professional standard item of equipment. There is little point in spending cash at a DIY store only to have the tool let you down. Spend the same or less hiring a professional tool or piece of equipment - it makes sense both financially and in practical terms.
