About Lightweight Hire

Lightweight Hire is a small family run Company based in Storrington, West Sussex covering the local area for deliveries, to include Amberley, Bury, Billingshurst, Fittleworth, Steyning, Washington, and West Chiltington, we are also happy to give quotations for deliveries in a wider area.

The business was established in the late 1980's in Storrington with smaller premises which were next door to the present site in West Street. In December 2004 the business changed ownership, but the name remained the same.

The core business is still tools for the DIY market and professional local builders.

During the later years the products on offer have expanded to include access equipment, for example, aluminium towers, Youngman boards, bandstands and scaffold boards.

The small construction equipment includes cement mixers, compactor plates and demolition hammers.

For gardeners and landscape customers we offer a large range of equipment, including a lawn aerator, scarifier and a 'rough' grass cutter, petrol hedge trimmers, and rotovators.

We also offer, and have on display in the shop in Storrington, various consumable items i.e diamond cutting discs, SDS drills and safety products, together with small tools.

We are also able to supply larger equipment from leading manufacturers should there be a requirement.
